Fried eggs with truffle slices is a quick and easy-to-make breakfast idea combining the simplicity of fried eggs with the complex and rich taste of Molise black truffles. A yummy and exciting combination to start your day on the right foot.


  • 2 qt Fresh Eggs

  • 15 ml Timperio Gentile

    Alternatively, you may use Timperio Nobile, or Organic Bio/Olio

  • 20 g Black Truffle Slices in EVOO

    Altenatively, 5 grams of freshly grated black truffle

  • 15 g Freshly grated parmesan cheese (optional)

  • 1 pinch Salt (to taste)

  • 1 pinch Black pepper (to taste)


  • Take the eggs out of the fridge a few minutes before starting the preparation.

  • Heat up over low- to medium- heat a non-stick frying pan for a few seconds, and add Timperio Gentile (or Timperio Nobile or Organic) in it for roughly 2 minutes.

  • Crack the eggs, add them to the frying pan, and cook for 2.5 / 3 minutes.

  • When the egg is still hot, garnish with flakes of Parmigiano Reggiano and slices of black truffle. If you prefer having the dish with freshly grated black truffle, you may substitute the truffle slices with 5 grams of freshly grated black truffle in brine.
