Caprese Salad Recipe

Caprese Salad is a fresh, easy-to-make, and elegant salad made using juicy ripe tomatoes, fresh mozzarella topped with fresh basil. Our healthy extra virgin olive oil, likely the best olive oil in Singapore, will provide that final gourmet touch your taste buds deserve.

 125 g Vine-ripe tomatoes1/4-inch thick slices
 125 g Fresh mozzarella1/4-inch thick slices
 2 qts Leaves of fresh Italian basil
 1 tbsp Timperio Nobile EVOor Timperio Organic Bio/Olio
 1 tsp Timperio Basil flavoured EOO
 1 pinch Flaky salt To taste
 1 pinch Black pepperTo taste

Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella, and place them on a platter. Arrange them in an alternating pattern, with partial overlap.

Scatter the basil over the tomatoes and mozzarella.

Sprinkle with a generous pinch of flaky salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste.

Drizzle with the Nobile EVOO, and the Basil flavoured EVOO over the tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil. Serve immediately.
