Bruschetta is one of the most famous and popular Italian foods. Pronounced as "brusketta", in Molise, you'll find a slightly different version, where we replace the usual tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic, and olive oil, with truffle sauce. The appetizer will fill your home with a captivating aroma, and impress your guests with a delightful taste. Truffle lovers beware!
Ingredients
2 QT HALF-INCH THICK SLICES OF BREAD (Sourdough, multigrain, baguette, or croutons)
2 TBSP TIMPERIO TRUFFLE SAUCE, TARTUFATA CREAM (Alternatively, you may use truffle and Porcini Mushroom spread)
1 TSP TIMPERIO ORGANIC BIO/OLIO (Alternatively, you may use Timperio Nobile, or Gentile)
1 TSP TIMPERIO WHITE-TRUFFLE FLAVORED EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL
Directions
Use a bread knife to slice the bread, making half-inch thick slices. Toast the bread using a bread toaster until it gets crunchy to your preference.
Spread a full tablespoon of truffle truffle sauce on each slice of bread. Add 1/2 additional tablespoon of it, if you prefer a stronger truffle flavor.
Drizzle 1 teaspoon of extra virgin olive oil & 1 teaspoon of white-truffle flavored extra virgin olive oil over each slice of bread, and enjoy the goodness of Molise!
